2007

In 2007, I photographed the Royal Festival Hall and the South Bank for The Times, documenting the landmark’s £91 million refurbishment just before its official reopening. My images capture the restored mid-century modern interiors and the revitalized riverfront, including a historic portrait of four original 1951 attendees returning to the building. This commission highlights the intersection of the hall’s Festival of Britain heritage with its modern architectural transformation.

In 2007, I photographed the Victorian walled kitchen garden and stables at Knightshayes Court for The Times. These images document the estate's Gothic architecture and heritage "plot-to-plate" gardens during a key period of their restoration.

I photographed The Times art critic Rachel Campbell-Johnston at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in 2007. The shoot captured a unique perspective of the critic within the vibrant, historic atmosphere of one of Britain’s most iconic amusement parks.

In 2007, I documented a community cookery initiative at Amici Bar & Italian Kitchen in South London for The Times. The shoot focused on local teenagers developing culinary skills under professional mentorship, capturing the energy and education behind the scenes of this vibrant Wandsworth Common establishment.
