This series features my Gozo travel photography from a summer in 2011. After waiting all night for the ferry, we stayed in Xlendi with my mother and my three-year-old son, Nik. We took a boat tour to the Blue Lagoon and explored the many steps around the Xlendi cliffs. This work is part of my Tilt-Shift Summer series, captured with a Canon tilt-shift lens

The island of Gozo is defined by its rugged coastline and a history that stretches back to the Neolithic era. Its architecture is characterized by the warm, honey-hued limestone of the traditional farmhouses and Baroque churches that punctuate the horizon. The landscape is a vivid contrast of these earthy golds against the deep cobalt of the Mediterranean and the crystalline turquoise of the lagoons.
